The Country Players were formed 30 years ago in November 1977 and since then we have usually presented three productions each year -  plays,  pantomimes and occasionally revues and old time musicals. We currently have about thirty full members plus helpers.

Most productions are held at Wootton  Village Hall, Church Road, Wootton, Beds. Click here for location map. We have also presented productions at The Place theatre in Bedford. Rehearsals are held in Wootton most Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8 pm.

Occasionally we have workshops where you can learn about theatre skills. We have also entered plays into the Bedfordshire Drama Association's One-Act Play Festival and over the years we have received numerous awards. Find out what other groups in Bedfordshire are presenting on the BDA web site here
